The little floofball black capped chickadee has always been a favourite go to when I am within a city and craving a moment of wildlife photography. The way they quickly flit around, seeming to taunt, landing almost within arms reach on one branch, and just as I ever so slowly adjust my lens to their perch, they hop to another roost and chirp out their name. Then when the moment comes when my camera is pointed perfectly, I swear they flirt with it. Tilting their head in different directions with each click of the shutter, then bouncing to adjust to capture their other side. It always makes me chuckle and immediately eases my stress of the noise of a city and fixes my craving for nature.
