Relatable

I think I love hummingbirds so much cause I feel I can relate to them in some way. Highly energized, seemingly incapable of sitting still for more than a moment and constantly needing to eat, albeit I just love food and they actually require it due to their fast paced metabolism. I can sit for hours by a hummingbird's favourite flower, feeder or perch and watch them flit and wiz by. They too have a curiosity of me, it seems, as they fly straight at me and hover, I swear staring at me, examining me as I gaze back and study them. Their gorgeous incandescent feathers reflecting the sun and their tiny eyes twinkling as they catch the light.
