A family of bighorn sheep are the only residents that remain within Spences Bridge as they too make their way out of town away from the on coming fire. Smoke surrounds the area and patches of flame flicker through the now blowing golden haze. As the sheep cross the highway I spot what appears to be numerous herds, normally dispersed throughout these mountains, now congested together from the over 43,500 hectare Lytton Creek fire that creeps northeast wards leaving Lytton, and wraps around secretly masked by a grand wall of smoke, encroaching, like a predator ready to pounce from above on the Eastern side.
