During a six-day white-water rafting adventure on the Babine River in central British Columbia, a group of adventurers embarked on a side trip to an area known for its fossils. Reaching the fossil-rich rock face was a challenging experienc as one had to first walk across a frigid, raging stream to get there. Once they arrived at the site, they lay on their backs to marvel at the miraculous creatures embedded in the rock.
