Smoke from nearby fires painted the sky with vibrant orange hues. The sun, glowing brightly like a fireball, dipped below the jagged silhouette of majestic Saddle Mountain, part of the Monashee mountain range in B.C. At the top of the summit stands the old lookout tower once used for spotting fires, now inactive for decades. Soothing colors and the gentle, warm glow of the setting sun gave way to a peaceful end to the day.
