Drifting Snow

"Drifting Snow" by Debbie Oppermann. Driving country roads in winter is sometimes a challenge as they are icy but it is worth the extra cautious driving to enjoy the beauty of the rural areas. This snow laden deep creek running beside a farmer's field was just lovely in it's simplicity. The deep snowdrifts on the one side and the snow covered grass, wildflower and woods on the other side with the shadowed creek running through it made such a wonderful winter landscape.A serene snowscape features a gently curving path flanked by snowdrifts and bare trees, leading the eye into the distance. The bright blue sky contrasts with the whiteness of the snow, creating a crisp, wintry scene.
