"Winter Creek Snowdrifts" by Debbie Oppermann. Driving country roads in winter is sometimes a challenge as they are icy but it is worth the extra cautious driving to enjoy the beauty of the rural areas. This snow laden deep creek running through a farmer's field and between wooden fences was just lovely in it's simplicity. The deep snowdrifts on the one side and the snow covered grass and wildflower field on the other side with the shadowed creek running through it made such a wonderful winter landscape. I was really happy to find this gem of a winter scene.A vast snow-covered landscape stretches into the distance, with bare trees lining the edges of a narrow, snow-filled path. The crisp white snow contrasts sharply against the overcast winter sky, creating a tranquil and serene scene. Sparse vegetation pokes through the snow, adding subtle texture and depth.
