As I was taking this photo of an Eider sea-duck on the ice on a very cold winter day in Caissie Cape, New Brunswick, I noticed a second one behind it! They are perfectly aligned, both heads turned in the same direction (even as they both turned their heads later). These large sea-ducks come here along the Northumberland coast for the winter.
