"Let it rain" is the mantra for this hooded merganser and myself as we both brave the soggy Vancouver Island winter weather. Drops of rain make ripples, splashes, and dimples in the water, creating golden abstract art of the merganser's reflection. It's a beautiful scene, one I felt compelled to capture.
