My favorite spot for photographing the Milky Way is at a pond in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The skies are so dark you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. I love the peacefulness of the night and I reflect on the incredible galaxy we live in, as the galaxy reflects in the pond. In this photo a meteor entered my frame in the upper right corner.
