I have a few white crab spiders, also known as goldenrod or flower crab spider, in my garden, but they tend to be a bit shy. This spider was tending a small web, and waiting for a meal to come along. He/she didn't seem to be disturbed by my many movements around his location as I photographed other insects and spiders using my 100mm Macro lens, so I was able to get quite close to this beauty. I also cropped my photo so I was further away than this appears.
