I have seen a pair of Wood Ducks in a little pond near us frequently, and yesterday, the first day of 'spring' weather, I found their likely nesting area. Both the drake and hen showed up to feed on some grain, but the hen left, leaving her hubby to clean up. Looking forward to many more friendly encounters over the spring.
