They say the eyes are the windows to the soul and having the honour of seeing into the eyes of this young grey seal, I can tell you that animals undoubtedly know the secrets of the universe. A rare event, meeting this calm grey seal pup. With over 80,000 born on Sable Island each year, these pups are born into a world of chaos and beauty. So to share this moment with this little one, less than a month old, before it heads out into the world - it was special.
