A male grey seal (Halichoerus grypus) is a foreboding, stoic presence. At 350 kgs and competing for a mate, these males are intimidating and raw in their lease on life, and you can see it all in their eyes. Taken December 2024 on Sable Island National Park (43.9337° N, 59.9149° W).
