This photograph shows a young Great Horned Owl perched atop a weathered gravestone within a cemetery setting. The owl remained mostly still, observing its surroundings while occasionally shifting its posture as it adjusted to the exposed perch. A second sibling was present nearby, remaining higher in the surrounding trees and out of direct view. During the observation, this individual was seen regurgitating a pellet, a normal part of its digestive process. Nearby crows moved through the area, reacting intermittently to the presence of the young owl as it remained on the gravestone.
