I was walking, it was hot, then I spotted a big insect flying. At first I thought it was a hummingbird moth, but it was larger, and not as fast. I managed to take a few pictures and was surprised to see a wasp like insect. But it was quite large, not a “normal wasp”. I had no idea what it could be. I searched on the internet for large wasps in Ontario and came up with the Cicada Killer Wasp. That was it! What an interesting wasp!
