Highly curious and always on the lookout for food, Canada Jays eat just about anything, from berries to small animals. I saw several of these birds foraging on the road but I couldn't make out what they were eating and I didn't want to interrupt them. On returning home and viewing the pictures on the computer, I could see the Jays were eating ants!
