It was hard to miss this coral tooth mushroom growing on the side of a dead branch while on my walk on one of the paths in Murphy's Point Provincial Park one August afternoon. I've seen coral tooth before but this was easily the biggest growth of this fungi I've come across. Coral tooth grows in bushy clusters ranging from 3 to 14 inches across and is edible. Even if they are though, because this fungi was found in a provincial park, it is prohibited to forage it and other fungi.
