After work, I decided to not go straight home, but to see if anything was around to photograph. That's when I saw some cubs in an apple tree. I spent a little time with them, parked at a safe distance and never leaving my vehicle. I stayed as quiet as I could, so I could watch them be themselves, which was very entertaining! The branches would move, and I could hear growling in the top, as another cub moved in too close to where another was eating, siblings! This one decided to climb back down the tree with a mouthful and eat the apple out of reach of its sibling. In a matter of seconds, as this cub climbed down the tree, it looked across the road and made eye contact with me. I noticed that this young cub has an eye injury, but it doesn't seem to be affecting it, sure looks sore though. Clinton BC
