The salmon run season is at it's peak in October in Toronto. This image of three Chinook salmon trying to jump over a dam in a local park in Toronto. Although there are no official tracked or precise percentage for how many salmon successfully clear the dam, field observations, naturalist groups, and local spectators note that the vast majority of individual jump attempts fail.
